Club currently situated at Cutlers Farm Business Centre near Bearley, just outside Stratford upon Avon
Originally formed in 2010, at first meeting in a local pub before moving to a very cramped and cold (but free) hut, that was restricting in every way but better than the pub room. Late in 2015 the decision was taken to actively search for better premises. Early in 2016 the club reformed as Stratford and District Model Railway Club. Attempts were made to find suitable premises in Stratford itself, but this proved uneconomic, so after much searching, on the April 1st we relocated to new premises (which allow the layouts to remain erected) at Cutlers Farm Business Centre near Bearley, just outside Stratford upon Avon.
We are a small friendly group meeting every most days in the week (Tuesday & Saturday being the most popular) and we have members from Evesham, Bidford, Alcester, Warwick and of course Stratford upon Avon. The club caters for a range of scales and currently has layouts in N, 00, 0 and G, we also have members with an interest in USA outline H0 and Narrow Gauge (as well as the real thing). No matter what your interest or ability we welcome anyone interested in the hobby.
Members may have the opportunity to work on our layouts, help each other fix problems, learn new skills, refine existing ones, share tips and expertise, or simply have a natter and make new friends over a cup of tea. Members are all ages and backgrounds, and whatever your experience and skill you will be given a warm welcome.
